A. Frame

The display and lights are protected by the frame, which is the lightbox’s outermost component. It is typically composed of metal, although it can also be made from a wide range of other materials. The frame offers stability for your display and aids in shielding your branding from deterioration.

B. Lighting

  • UV Printing – UV printing is a printing technique that transfers an image from a printing plate to a substrate using ultraviolet light. As a result, the image is clear and colorful and will remain so for years to come. 
  • Dye Sublimation – Ink in a printable material is converted to a solid form that may be embedded into another material by a printing process called dye sublimation, which employs heat. Additionally, some businesses use an opaque sheet that has a thin layer of clear material on top that is then placed over the logo and illuminated from below.

The materials are cut, assembled and glued together. The acrylic sheet is then glued to the front of the lightbox. A LED strip is installed inside the acrylic sheet and connected to a power source. Due to the lower power usage, LED lights can be used for longer periods of time without breaking or getting too hot, which means they won’t need to be changed as frequently as traditional bulbs.

  • Surface Mount Device (SMD) LED Lights – Surface mount device (SMD) LED lights are typically used in logo lightboxes. These lights are small and require less space than other types of LED lights. SMD LED lights also have a smaller footprint and can be easily hidden in a logo lightbox.
  • Chip on Board (COB) LED Lights – Chip on Board (COB) LED lights are the most common type of LED light used in logo lightboxes. COB LEDs are arranged in a grid pattern, which is what makes them so efficient and cost-effective to produce.
  • RGB LED Lights – They have individual red, green, and blue sub-pixels that can be manipulated to produce any color. White light is created by combining the three hues. This enables you to change the brightness of each color as necessary to alter its intensity.
  • Neon LED Lights – The most popular kind of LED lights used in logo lightboxes are neon lights. Neon LEDs are vivid, long-lasting, and dazzling. The logos might be seen on banners or in storefront windows.
